AVB was chosen to construct El Concilio’s 22,000 square-foot renovated facility. This new space comes as a response to El Concilio’s growing needs and demand for more space to house new amenities.
El Concilio preschool and community center is a hub for Latinx residents to thrive and grow together in the Kalamazoo community.
Formally a Kalsee Credit Union, this new space will be converted to host classrooms, offices, a kitchen, a dance studio, collaboration area, and lounge area. Exterior renovations will include a covered play area, soccer field, and walking trails.
